The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Explore Jeju's surroundings by going to Seogwipo (Gasiri Wind Power Plant & Seongsan Ilchulbong). Suncheon — 2 nights

Korea's Ecological Capital.

Establishing a name for itself as "Korea's Ecological Capital," Suncheon sits nestled on the southwest coastline of the Korean peninsula, a haven of scenic beauty.
On the 12th (Wed), take in nature's colorful creations at Suncheon Bay Garden, then stroll around Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve, and then make a trip to Suncheon Open Film Set. On the 13th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Saseongam Temple 四聖庵, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Songgwangsa Temple, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Seonamsa Temple.

A sprawling metropolis and center for research, Daejeon stands as the fifth largest city in South Korea.
