Visit Tours et Remparts d'Aigues-Mortes and Librairie Vieil Aix for their historical value. Step out of the city life by going to Le Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau and Calanques. Get out of town with these interesting Marseille side-trips: Pont du Gard (in Vers-Pont-du-Gard), Les Baux de Provence (Chateau des Baux de Provence & Carrieres de Lumieres) and Arenes de Nimes (in Nimes). The adventure continues: explore the ancient world of Amphitheatre (les Arenes), make a trip to Cours Mirabeau, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Notre Dame de la Mer - Église fortifiée.

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Lérins Islands and Une Maison à Saint-Paul de Vence. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild and Le Suquet. Explore Nice's surroundings by going to Le Sentier du Littoral, Cap d'Antibes (in Antibes) and La Croisette (in Cannes). The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at La cité médiévale.

You can fly from Nice to Stockholm in 6 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Nice in July: high temperatures in Stockholm hover around 26°C and lows are around 15°C.
