New York City to South Lake Tahoe is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from New York City to South Lake Tahoe. Traveling from New York City in July, South Lake Tahoe is much colder at night with lows of 46°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can travel to Yosemite National Park.
