On the 13th (Wed), explore the world behind art at Alpinarium Galtur, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pfarrkirche Galtuer, hit the slopes at Ischgl-Samnaun ski area, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Die Pfarrkirche Ischgl, and finally examine the collection at Seilbahnmuseum.

Despite its small size, Zell am See is a well-visited tourist destination known mostly as a ski resort town, and it serves as an important transportation hub for the region.
Take a break from the city and head to Grossglockner High Alpine Road and Schmittenhohe. Explore hidden gems such as Liechtensteinklamm and Kitzsteinhorn. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Zell am See: Krimml (Pfarrkirche zum hl. Jakobus dem Alteren & Krimml Falls (Krimmler Wasserfalle)). You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Hallstatt-Dachstein - Salzkammergut Cultural Landscape and Beinhaus, Karner, Ossuary. Old Town and Hallstatt Lutheran Church are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step out of Hallstatt to go to Grunau im Almtal and see Kasberg, which is approximately 1h 05 min away.
