You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tenganan: USS Liberty Shipwreck (in Tulamben), Padangbai (Silayuki Temple & Scuba & Snorkeling) and Manggis (Kusamba Traditional Salt Mining, Blue Lagoon Beach, &more). Situated about 18 km (11 mi) east of Ubud, Tampaksiring represents one of Bali's first pre-colonial kingdoms, and also houses one of the biggest and most important temples in the whole of Indonesia.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Penglipuran and Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. Step off the beaten path and head to Ikat Batik and KOU Cuisine. Venture out of the city with trips to Spas & Wellness (in Canggu), Ubud (Tradisi Fabric and Cushions, Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA), &more) and Taman Ayun Temple (in Mengwi).
