On the 11th (Mon), tour the pleasant surroundings at Hupisaaret Park and then stroll around Ainolan Puisto. Explore Imatra's surroundings by going to Lappeenrannan kirkko (in Lappeenranta), Olavinlinna Castle (in Savonlinna) and Siikalahti Wetland (in Parikkala). The adventure continues: pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. Nicholas, take in the spiritual surroundings of Tainionkosken Church, and admire the engineering at Imatrankoski.

Kouvola is a town and municipality in southeastern Finland. Step out of Kouvola to go to Siltakyla and see Valkmusa National Park, which is approximately 44 minutes away. Spend the 20th (Wed) exploring nature at Repovesi National Park. It doesn't end there: look for all kinds of wild species at Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area and contemplate the long history of World Heritage Site - Verla Groundwood and Board Mill.
