Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Bascarsija and Latin Bridge. On the 7th (Thu), spend a day ambling around Vrelo Bosne. Trebinje is the southernmost municipality and city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Family-friendly places like Tvrdoš Monastery and Fort Strac (Tvrdava Strac) will thrill your kids. Take a break from Trebinje with a short trip to Vjetrenica in Zavala, about 50 minutes away.
