Tirana, the largest city in Albania, represents one a lively and fast-paced metropolis.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Mon): take in the awesome beauty at Mount Dajti. On the 17th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Muzeu Historik Kombetar, explore the world behind art at National Gallery of Art, then learn about all things military at BunkArt 1, and finally step into the grandiose world of Kruja Castle.

Seattle, USA to Tirana is an approximately 17-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or do a combination of flight and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 9 hours traveling from Seattle to Tirana. Traveling from Seattle in September, you will find days in Tirana are a bit warmer (83°F), and nights are about the same (58°F). Perched on the edge of a fjord-like bay rimmed by rugged mountains, Kotor grew around a medieval settlement purposely built like a maze.
Visit Stari Grad Kotor and City Walls for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at Altstadt (Old Town) Budva and Kotor’s Castle Of San Giovanni. Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at R.K.C. Gospa od Škrpjela, explore the ancient world of St. Tryphon Cathedral, get interesting insight from Tours, and steep yourself in history at Citadel.

Museum of War and Genocide Victims 1992-1995 and Art Studio Pandur will appeal to museum buffs. Old Bridge (Stari Most) and Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Mostar: Kravica (in Studenci) and Medjugorje (il Monte Della Croce & Apparition Hill). There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Koskin-Mehmed Pasha's Mosque, take an in-depth tour of Old Bridge Museum, contemplate the long history of Kajtaz House, and shop like a local with Old Bazar Kujundziluk.

The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.
Visit Kalemegdan and Saint Petka's Chapel for their historical value. Appreciate the collections at Muzej Nikole Tesle (Nikola Tesla Museum) and Military Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Belgrade: Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God (in Smederevo) and Manastir Kaona (in Sabac).
