Bangkok, Thailand to Chitose is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also drive. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Bangkok to Chitose due to the time zone difference. Plan for cooler temperatures traveling from Bangkok in April, with highs in Chitose at 12°C and lows at 0°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Wed) so you can travel to Shimukappu-mura.
