In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Explore hidden gems such as Duomo Vecchio di Brescia and Armeria Reale. Barcelona, Spain to Milan is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. In December, Milan is a bit cooler than Barcelona - with highs of 9°C and lows of 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Florence.
