A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
On the 3rd (Mon), take a stroll through Le Marais. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: appreciate the extensive heritage of Île de la Cité, then contemplate the long history of Eiffel Tower, then take a stroll through Montmartre, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre.

Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
Take a break from the city and head to Plan D'Eau de Bordelan and La Roche de Solutre. Do some cultural sightseeing at Musee Miniature et Cinema and Théâtre gallo-romain. Change things up with a short trip to Cite medievale de Perouges in Perouges (about 38 minutes away). There's lots more to do: get to know the fascinating history of Fourviere Hill, don't miss a visit to Le Mur Des Canuts, and learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Parc de la Tete d'Or.

The 2013 European "Capital of Culture," Marseille is the largest port city on the breezy Mediterranean coast and the second largest city in France.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Chateau des Baux de Provence and The Panier. Visiting Le Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau and Calanques will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Marseille: Arles (Amphitheatre (les Arenes) & Eglise St-Trophime), Cours Mirabeau (in Aix-en-Provence) and Le Sentier des Ocres (in Roussillon). Spend the 10th (Mon) exploring nature at Parc national des Calanques. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathédrale La Major.

Saint-Tropez, France

Saint-Tropez is a town, 100km west of Nice, in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. We've included these beaches for you: La plage and Plage de l'Escalet. Get in touch with nature at Plage de Gigaro and Plage de Sylvabelle. Step out of Saint-Tropez with an excursion to Scuba & Snorkeling in La Londe Les Maures--about 52 minutes away. There's more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Heraclee Beach.

You can drive from Marseille to Saint-Tropez in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or do a combination of train and bus. June in Saint-Tropez sees daily highs of 34°C and lows of 17°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) early enough to drive to Cannes.

Known for its own microclimate that is generally milder than the rest of the French Riviera, Menton is located very close to the border with Italy, whose influence is visible in the architecture and customs of the city.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Wed): tour the pleasant surroundings at Plage du Fossan and then enjoy the sand and surf at Promenade du Soleil. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: kick back and relax at Plage du Buse, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chapelle des Penitents Blancs, and then explore the stunning scenery at Nice Rafting.

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
You'll get in some beach time at Castel Plage and Eze Sur Mer Strand. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild and Le Jardin exotique d'Eze. Change things up with a short trip to Saint-Paul de Vence in St-Paul-de-Vence (about 32 minutes away). Casino Square and Cathedrale Notre-Dame-Immaculee are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore hidden gems such as Prince's Palace and Vieux Monaco. There's lots more to do: take a leisurely stroll along Monte Carlo Harbor, see the interesting displays at The Private Collection of Antique Cars of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III, admire the striking features of Place du Palais, and try to win big at Casino of Monte-Carlo.
