Castellane

Castellane is a commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France. Get some historical perspective at La Citadelle d'Entrevaux and Moulin a farine d'Entrevaux. Visiting Adrenaline & Extreme Tours and Route des Cretes La Palud will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Castellane to Allos to see Lac d'Allos about 1h 25 min away. There's still lots to do: relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, trek along Starting Point Du Sentier Blanc-Martel, explore the stunning scenery at Les Gorges du Verdon, and don't miss a visit to Chapelle Notre Dame du Roc.

Hyères, Provençal Occitan: Ieras in classical norm, or Iero in Mistralian norm) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.The old town lies 4km from the sea clustered around the Castle of Saint Bernard, which is set on a hill. Take a break from the city and head to Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Plage de Gigaro. Visit Eglise Saint-Louis and Eglise Saint-Francois de Sales for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Hyeres side-trips: Plage de Pampelonne (in Ramatuelle), La Ciotat (Route des Cretes & La Calanque de Figuerolles) and Heraclee Beach (in La Croix-Valmer).
