The coastal town of Kamakura sits close to Tokyo, with the ancient settlement featuring a number of important historical and cultural sites.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Hase-dera Temple Kannondo, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hase-dera Temple, and then don't miss a visit to Kōtoku-in.
