Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
On the 24th (Sun), make a trip to Ruta Perla de Sefarad, get the lay of the land with Walking tours, then steep yourself in history at Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, and finally make a trip to Historic Centre of Cordoba. On your second day here, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, examine the collection at Museo del Guadameci Omeya. Exposicion de Ramon Garcia Romero y Jose Carlos V. Garcia, stop by Tienda Gourmet Casa Pedro, then get to know the fascinating history of Jewish Quarter (Juderia), and finally admire the striking features of Zuheros.

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
Spend a day outdoors on the 28th (Thu) with Sierra & Sol. The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Alhambra, get to know the fascinating history of Albayzin, enjoy the scholastic atmosphere at Escuela Delengua, and take in the awesome beauty at Mulhacen.

Drive from Cordoba to Granada in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. While traveling from Cordoba, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Granada, ranging from highs of 14°C to lows of 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sat) so you can drive to Malaga.
