If you're a gastronomy enthusiast, you should consider a trip to Jeonju, a city hailed for its cuisine and food festivals.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Jeonju Makgeolli Town, Hanbyeokdang Pavillion and Jeonjuhyanggyo Confucian School. Change things up with these side-trips from Jeonju: Yuseong Hot Springs Public Foot Bath (in Daejeon) and Eunpa Lake Park (in Gunsan). A serene port city midway along South Korea's south coast, Yeosu offers a waterfront of marinas, seafood, and scenic island views.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Wed): head off the coast to Odongdo and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hyangiram Hermitage. On your second day here, make a trip to Suncheon Open Film Set and then walk around Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve.
