Start off your visit on the 5th (Thu): contemplate the long history of La Huaca del Sol, then explore the ancient world of Chan Chan, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Trujillo - Catedral de Santa Maria, and finally don't miss a visit to Plaza de Armas de Trujillo. Keep things going the next day: explore the ancient world of Site Museum, contemplate the long history of Casa Urquiaga (Casa Calonge), and then get engrossed in the history at Cao Museum.

Toronto, Canada to Trujillo is an approximately 16-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and flight; or do a combination of flight and bus. Traveling from Toronto in December, things will get much warmer in Trujillo: highs are around 26°C and lows about 20°C.
