Often referred to as Iceland's second city, Akureyri offers an array of cultural attractions in a scenic setting.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Flora, Akureyri. Herring Era Museum and Folk Music Center are good opportunities to explore the local culture.
