Lisbon, Portugal to Rotterdam is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Lisbon to Rotterdam due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Lisbon in August, things will get slightly colder in Rotterdam: highs are around 26°C and lows about 15°C. "Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Tue): glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Aiguille du Midi.
