The booming city of Bucharest is a sophisticated metropolis with a high contrast of old- and new-world architecture.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Muzeul National al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti" and Stavropoleos Church (Biserica Stravrapoleos). Venture out of the city with trips to The Clock Museum (in Ploiesti) and Bellu Manor (in Urlati). Dedicate the 27th (Wed) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
