A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Venture out of the city with trips to Museo Palacio de Palma (in Ecija), Ronda (Parroquia de Nuestra Senora del Socorro, Puente Nuevo, &more) and Cordoba (Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, &more). There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Royal Alcázar of Seville, make a trip to Setas de Sevilla (Metropol Parasol), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Sevilla, and see where the action happens at Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Sevilla.
