Pamplona or Iruña is the historical capital city of Navarre, in Spain, and of the former Kingdom of Navarre. The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to 14. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pamplona: Zaragoza (Palacio de la Aljaferia, El Tubo, & more), Vivanco. Cultura de Vino (in Briones) and Bodegas Lecea (in San Asensio). There's still lots to do: test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, brush up on your military savvy at Fortress and Walls of Pamplona, make a trip to Plaza del Castillo, and explore the historical opulence of Palacio Real de Olite.

For ratings, photos, maps, and tourist information, refer to the Pamplona trip itinerary maker app .

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major airports are Bilbao Airport, Zaragoza Air Base and Santander Airport. In October, daily temperatures in Pamplona can reach 25°C, while at night they dip to 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
