Pamplona or Iruña is the historical capital city of Navarre, in Spain, and of the former Kingdom of Navarre. The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to 14. Visiting Parque de Yamaguchi and River Rafting & Tubing will get you outdoors. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Hecho Valley and Selva de Oza. Explore Pamplona's surroundings by going to Cueva de las Guixas (in Villanua), Mallos de Riglos (in Riglos) and Cueva de Mendukilo (in Astitz). The adventure continues: step into the grandiose world of Palacio Real de Olite, take a peaceful walk through Bosque de Orgi, cruise along Alto del Perdon, and identify plant and animal life at Parque Natural Urbasa Andia.

A city famous for its cuisine, Bologna is the seat of the oldest university in the world, founded in 1088.
Visiting Playa del Sol and Altamarea Beach Village will get you outdoors. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Basilica - Santuario di Santo Stefano and Chiesa di Santa Maria della Vita. Explore Bologna's surroundings by going to Lido delle Sirene (in Cattolica), Pineta di Milano Marittima (in Milano Marittima) and Porto Turistico Cesenatico (in Cesenatico). There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santuario di Madonna di San Luca, tour the pleasant surroundings at Via degli Dei, steep yourself in history at Basilica di San Petronio, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilica di San Domenico.
