Witness the vibrant skyline of Hong Kong, an impressive urban territory on the southern coast of China.
Kids will enjoy Hong Kong Museum of History and Hong Kong Science Museum. You'll explore and learn at Sam Tung Uk Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence. There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Lantau island, meet the residents at Ocean Park, admire the striking features of Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha), and find something for the whole family at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Sydney, Australia to Hong Kong is an approximately 12.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight, subway, and train. The time zone changes from Australian Eastern Standard Time (New South Wales) (AEST) to Hong Kong Time (HKT), which is usually a -2 hour difference. When traveling from Sydney in March, plan for slightly colder days in Hong Kong, with highs around 26°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 20°C. Get some historical perspective at Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum and Sultan Mosque. For shopping fun, head to Orchard Road or Little India. Take a break from Singapore with a short trip to Universal Studios Singapore in Sentosa Island, about 32 minutes away.
