Kick off your visit on the 12th (Mon): don't miss a visit to Vvedenskiy Tolga Convent, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. John the Baptist Church, pause for some photo ops at Monument 1000 Years of Yaroslavl, then admire the local landmark of Strelka Fountains, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Yaroslavl Embankment, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Elijah the Prophet. On your second day here, see the interesting displays at Private Museum Music and Time, pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedral of the Assumption, then examine the collection at Yaroslavl Architectural Historical and Art Museum Preserve, and finally appreciate the history behind Monument to Bear.
