The capital of the Basque country, Vitoria-Gasteiz is a medieval city with lively suburbs and a traditional but elegant urban feel.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Catedral de Santa Maria, admire the masterpieces at Museo de los Faroles, then engage your brain at Museo Hontza, and finally admire the striking features of Caserio Museo Igartubeiti. On the 27th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at Artziniega Museoa, tour the pleasant surroundings at Parque de la Florida, and then see the interesting displays at Museo Fournier de Naipes de Alava.
