A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Wed): take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, then stroll through Zoom Torino, and then stroll through Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to Basilica of Superga, then see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and then make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

Milan to Turin is an approximately 1-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Milan in May, you will find days in Turin are slightly colder (20°C), and nights are about the same (12°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Thu) early enough to take a train back home.
