Deemed the Capital of Engines, Modena is the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari and the headquarters of Italian sports cars.
You've now added Panini Motor Museum to your itinerary. On the 25th (Fri), take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Modena, examine the collection at Acetaia Giuseppe Giusti, examine the collection at Panini Motor Museum, then push the limits with an extreme tour, and finally examine the collection at Museo Ferrari. On the 26th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: learn about winemaking at Acetaia Villa San Donnino, see the interesting displays at MEF-Museo Enzo Ferrari, then take in panoramic vistas at Ghirlandina, then explore the historical opulence of Rocca Sanvitale di Fontanellato, and finally brush up on your military savvy at Sala Museale dell'Accademia Militare.

If you are flying in from Austria, the closest major airports are Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, Verona Villafranca Airport and Peretola Airport. In October in Modena, expect temperatures between 22°C during the day and 13°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
