The tiny town of Friday Harbor is the largest village on the San Juan Islands, and it fits within just 2.6 km (1 sq mi) of space.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Dolphin & Whale Watching and The Whale Museum. Visiting Lime Kiln Point State Park and Moran State Park will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Friday Harbor: Deception Pass State Park (in Oak Harbor), San Juan Island Distillery (in Roche Harbor) and Orcas Island Pottery (in Eastsound).
