Zermatt — 3 nights

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Go for a jaunt from Zermatt to Ernen to see Hangebrucke Furgangen-Muhlebach about 1h 25 min away. The adventure continues: get great views at Gornergrat, take in the awesome beauty at The Matterhorn, explore the different monuments and memorials at Mountaineers' Cemetery, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Riffelsee.

Appenzell District is a district of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden in Switzerland.
