Russia's Summer Capital

Called the "Summer Capital of Russia," the busy resort town of Sochi is best known as the host of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Adler Market and Gorky Mall. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Moremall and Agura Waterfalls. When in Sochi, make a side trip to see 33 Waterfalls in Bolshoy Kichmay, approximately Bolshoy Kichmay away. Spend the 2nd (Wed) exploring nature at Sochi National Park. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Arboretum Park, take in the exciting artwork at Art Glass Studio, hit the slopes at Tirol Club, and examine the collection at Bolshe Spetsiy.

Stockholm, Sweden to Sochi is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of ferry and train. The time zone difference when traveling from Stockholm to Sochi is 2 hours. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Stockholm in June: high temperatures in Sochi hover around 30°C and lows are around 20°C. You'll have a few hours on the 9th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Gelendzhik.

Taganrog is a port city in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located on the north shore of the Taganrog Bay in the Sea of Azov, several kilometers west of the mouth of the Don River. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Tue): appreciate the history behind Young Reader Sculpture, then don't miss a visit to Depaldo Stone Steps, then don't miss a visit to Bankovskaya Square, and finally browse the different shops at Mall Marmelad.
