Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. Plan my Naples trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Sydney, Australia to Naples is an approximately 26-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 9 hours traveling from Sydney to Naples. Traveling from Sydney in September, expect Naples to be somewhat warmer, temps between 31°C and 20°C. While often overshadowed by the Amalfi Coast's array of quaint villages, Salerno has become one of the region's main areas for culture and entertainment, while remaining relatively unmarked by tourism.
On the 7th (Sat), pause for some serene contemplation at Badia della Santissima Trinita', then look for gifts at Bossa, then stroll the grounds of Salerno War Cemetery, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Duomo di Salerno. On your second day here, explore the ancient world of Castello di Arechi, explore the ancient world of Paestum Ruins, then learn about winemaking at Le Vigne di Raito, and finally make a trip to Borgo Scacciaventi.

Salerno is just a stone's throw from Naples. Plan for somewhat warmer nights when traveling from Naples in September since evenings lows in Salerno dip to 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Mon) to allow time for the ferry ride to Positano.

Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of Santa Maria Assunta, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Parrocchia San Giovanni, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Duomo di Sant'Andrea.
