Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
On the 16th (Fri), spend a day ambling around Vrelo Bosne. And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at Bascarsija, snap pictures at Latin Bridge, don't miss a visit to Sarajevo War Tunnel, and admire the masterpieces at Galerija 11/07/95.

Jajce is a town and municipality located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Bosanska Krajina region. Kick off your visit on the 19th (Mon): explore the activities along Pliva Lakes, take in the dramatic scenery at Pliva Waterfall, and then see the interesting displays at AVNOJ museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to Watermills and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vlasic Mountain.

Trebinje

Trebinje is the southernmost municipality and city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Take a break from Trebinje with a short trip to Vjetrenica in Zavala, about 50 minutes away. The adventure continues: take in the spiritual surroundings of Tvrdoš Monastery, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hercegovacka Gracanica, admire the striking features of Trebinje Old City, and pause for some photo ops at Monument to the Soldiers Killed in the Defense of the City.
