Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Visit Glenfinnan Viaduct and Eilean Donan Castle for their historical value. Explore hidden gems such as Steall Waterfall and West Highland Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Fort William: Camusdarach Beach (in Arisaig) and Highland Titles Nature Reserve (in Duror). There's still lots to do: appreciate the views at Glencoe and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ben Nevis.
