Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Via Condotti and Serra. You'll explore and learn at Vatican Museums and Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Rome: Tivoli (Villa Adriana & Villa d'Este). And it doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, make a trip to Rione Regola, explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill, and wander the streets of Trastevere.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major airports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport and Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport. In February, plan for daily highs up to 16°C, and evening lows to 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Sat) to allow time to take a train to Pompeii.
