Explore Cap-Haitien's surroundings by going to Milot (Citadelle Laferrière, Cathedrale de Milot, &more) and A Paradise Cove Escape and Haitian Village Experience (in Labadee). There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Notre Dame de Cap Haitien, steep yourself in history at National History Park - Citadel, Sans Souci, Ramiers, and appreciate the history behind Heros de Vertieres.

You can drive from Jacmel to Cap-Haitien in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus; or take a bus. When traveling from Jacmel in May, plan for little chillier days in Cap-Haitien, with highs around 33°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 30°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
