Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Sapokka Water Garden and Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth. When in Kotka, make a side trip to see Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area in Kouvola, approximately 56 minutes away. Spend the 5th (Mon) exploring nature at Valkmusa National Park. There's much more to do: examine the collection at Maritime Centre Vellamo, look for all kinds of wild species at Riverside Park, trek along Santalahti Nature Trail, and take in the pleasant sights at Linden Esplanade.
