On the 29th (Fri), get to know the fascinating history of Piazza San Marco, then steep yourself in history at Doge's Palace, then snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, and finally explore the activities along Canal Grande. On your second day here, get interesting insight from Like a Venetian, then admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and then admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco.
