One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Mon): stroll around Banpo Hangang Park, then walk around Namsan Park, and then wander the streets of Insadong. Jeju — 6 nights

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Get some historical perspective at Gwaneumsa Temple and Bulsari Tapsa Temple. Take a break from the city and head to Hamdeok Beach and Nature & Wildlife Tours. Get out of town with these interesting Jeju side-trips: Seogwipo (Halla Mountain, Seongsan Ilchulbong, &more). Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Gwakji Gwamul Beach, head outdoors with Geumneung Eutteumwon Beach, identify plant and animal life at Roe Deer Observation Center, and head off the coast to Udo.
