Monterey — 2 nights

Monterey is a city in the U.S. state of California, on the southern edge of Monterey Bay on California's Central Coast. Step out of Monterey to go to Carmel Valley and see Joyce Vineyards, which is approximately 30 minutes away. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard, meet the residents at Monterey Bay Aquarium, admire the masterpieces at Casa Serrano, Historic Adobe, and get a dose of the wild on Elkhorn Slough Safari.
