Little Island

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
Get a sense of the local culture at Culebrita Lighthouse and Museo Historico de Culebra. You'll get in some beach time at Flamenco Beach and Playa Punta Soldado Beach. There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Melones Beach, step off the mainland to explore Culebrita, tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Tamarindo, and look for all kinds of wild species at Culebra National Wildlife.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten-St. Martin to Culebra is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. In November in Culebra, expect temperatures between 35°C during the day and 28°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 29th (Tue) so you can catch the flight to Miami.
