A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.

Ponce — 2 nights

Ponce is both a city and a municipality in the southern part of Puerto Rico. Start off your visit on the 20th (Sat): appreciate the history behind Museo Castillo Serralles, then explore the world behind art at Museo de Arte de Ponce, and then take a leisurely stroll along La Guancha de Ponce. On your second day here, examine the collection at Parque de Bombas, admire the landmark architecture of Casa Wiechers-Villaronga, and then step off the mainland to explore Isla de Caja de Muertos.

Isla de Vieques — 3 nights

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Isla de Vieques is known for beaches, nature, and adventure.
