Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like 9/11 Memorial and Ellis Island. Head to Fifth Avenue and Tiffany & Co.for plenty of shopping. Change things up with a short trip to DM Weil Gallery in New Paltz (about 1h 45 min away). The adventure continues: admire the masterpieces at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, go for a walk through Central Park, pause for some photo ops at Statue of Liberty National Monument, and wander the streets of Times Square.

Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Head to The Mall at Millenia and Disney Springsfor some retail therapy. Have a day of magic on the 27th (Sun) at Walt Disney World Resort. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, discover the magic at Magic Kingdom Park, and get in on the family fun at Universal Orlando Resort.

Traveling by flight from New York City to Orlando takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In February, Orlando is much hotter than New York City - with highs of 28°C and lows of 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Tue) so you can go by car to Tampa.

You can drive from Orlando to Tampa in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. In March in Tampa, expect temperatures between 29°C during the day and 17°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sun) so you can catch the flight back home.
