Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Sensō-ji and Ginza are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Tokyo National Museum and Imperial Palace for their historical value. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Tokyo: Kōtoku-in (in Kamakura) and Katabira-gawa Shinsui Ryokudo (in Yokohama). There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Takeshita Street, make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, get great views at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and get a taste of the local shopping with Asakusa.

Guadalajara, Mexico to Tokyo is an approximately 21-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 15 hour difference. While traveling from Guadalajara, expect a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Tokyo, ranging from highs of 28°C to lows of 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Miyakojima.

On the 6th (Wed), kick back and relax at Tomori Imugya Beach, kick back and relax at Hora Gyoko no Hama Beach, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Aragusuku Beach. On the next day, stroll through Sunayama Beach and then kick back and relax at Yonaha Maehama Beach.
