Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Attractions like Deutsches Museum and New Town Hall (Neus Rathaus) make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Marienplatz, walk around English Garden, take in panoramic vistas at Frauenkirche, and contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Church.

Mumbai, India to Munich is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. Traveling from Mumbai to Munich, you'll gain 4 hours due to the time zone difference.
