Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sun): explore the world behind art at New Pinakothek and then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Peter's Church. On the 16th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get curious at Deutsches Museum, see the interesting displays at BMW Welt, then stop by Ingo Maurer Showroom, and finally browse the eclectic array of goods at Viktualienmarkt.

Adelaide, Australia to Munich is an approximately 24-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 8 hours traveling from Adelaide to Munich. Traveling from Adelaide in April, things will get slightly colder in Munich: highs are around 16°C and lows about 3°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Tue) early enough to travel to Dresden.

Change things up with these side-trips from Berlin: Spitzkrug Multi Center (in Frankfurt (Oder)), Potsdam's Gardens (in Potsdam) and Memorial and Museum Sachsenhausen (in Oranienburg). There's still lots to do: stop by Boxoffberlin, hunt for treasures at Berliner Kunstmarkt an der Museumsinsel, step into the grandiose world of Charlottenburg Palace, and steep yourself in history at Mauermuseum - Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie.

Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Get some cultural insight at Rijksmuseum and De Negen Straatjes. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Albert Cuyp Market and Leidseplein. Change things up with a short trip to Keukenhof in Lisse (about 44 minutes away).
