A trip to San Jose, the capital, commercial center, and cultural hub of Costa Rica, gives you a chance to experience the lively atmosphere and rich cultural past of this vibrant country.
On the 7th (Tue), view the masterpieces at Galeria Namu and then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. On your second day here, pause for some serene contemplation at Ruins of the Church of Carthage, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santiago Apostol Parish Ruins, and then take in the architecture and design of Universidad de Costa Rica.

A seaside resort town with plenty of entertaining distractions along its attractive coastline, Jaco has long been a major tourist destination on the central Pacific coast.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Thu): kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers. On the next day, look for gifts at The Costa Rica Coffee Experience, then look for gifts at Carton the Surf Shop, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Bejuco.
