A trip to San Jose, the capital, commercial center, and cultural hub of Costa Rica, gives you a chance to experience the lively atmosphere and rich cultural past of this vibrant country.
Appreciate the collections at Galeria Namu and Precolumbian Gold Museum. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like National Museum (Museo Nacional) and Museo de Arte Costarricense. Venture out of the city with trips to La Paz Waterfall Gardens (in Vara Blanca) and Our Lady of the Angels Basilica (Basilica de Nuestra Senora de Los Angeles) (in Cartago).
