Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Start off your visit on the 30th (Fri): admire the striking features of Doge's Palace, then admire the masterpieces at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, then admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande. On the next day, snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, take in the views from Ponte dei Sospiri, then get to know the fascinating history of St. Mark's Square, and finally explore the world behind art at Gallerie dell'Accademia.

Although its luxury shops, nightlife, casinos, and high-end restaurants give Cannes a feeling of exclusivity, this classic French Riviera city has alternatives to suit every budget.
Head to La Croisette and Avenue Jean Medecinfor plenty of shopping. Visiting Scuba & Snorkeling and Waterskiing & Jetskiing will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Cannes to Nice to see Marche aux Fleurs Cours Saleya about 50 minutes away.
