Seoul

— 15 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Explore Seoul's surroundings by going to Hwaseong Fortress (in Suwon), Korean Folk Village (in Yongin) and Nami Island (in Chuncheon). Pack the 10th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. Pack the 20th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Seoul Children's Grand Park. There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, wander the streets of Insadong, explore the striking landscape of Bukhansan National Park, and walk around Namsan Park.
