Called the "Summer Capital of Russia," the busy resort town of Sochi is best known as the host of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Gornaya Karusel Sport-Tourist Complex and Khostinsky Tisosamshitovaya Grove. Visiting Gazprom Mountain-Tourist Centre and "Laura" Cross-country Ski & Biathlon Center will get you outdoors. A city of science and philosophy, cosmopolitan Kaliningrad once served as a cultural hub of Germany, Poland, and Lithuania.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Fort #5 King Fredric-Wilhelm the Third. Popular historic sites such as Viewing Tower Lighthouse and Konigsberg Cathedral are in your itinerary. Change things up with a short trip to Beach Promenade in Yantarnyy (about 54 minutes away).
